“Bhai Joga Singh Ji, a Singh Youth from Peshawar, who
had lived in the presence of Guru Govind Singh Ji
Maharaj (1666-1708) at Anandpur Sahib serving for
many years with dedication and devotion. When Bhai
Joga Singh Ji first went into the serving of Sri Guru
Govind Singh Ji Maharaj, Guru Sahib Ji first asked him.
“Who are you? “Bhai Joga Singh Ji replied “I am Joga”.
Sri Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj said “Tu Kidhe Joga”
(Who are you worthy of ?). Bhai Joga Singh Ji replied
“Mai Tera Joga” (I am worthy of you). Guru Govind
Singh Ji Maharaj then said “Tu Mera Joga, Mai Tera
Joga” (You are worthy of me, then I am worthy of you)
and Guru Sahib ji asked Bhai Joga Singh Ji to stay in his
service”.
Bhai Joga Singh Public School is being governed by
Bhai Joga Singh Trust, founded by S. Raghubir Singh Ji.
Under the Bhai Joga Singh Trust, presently two schools
are running, one is Bhai Joga Singh Khalsa Girls Senior
Secondary School; a Govt. aided School established in
the year 1958 and the second BJS Public School
established in July 1984 under the nourishing hands
and expert guidance of our founder Principal, Dr. (Miss)
A.K. Kamal (1984-2013) and the Management. The
School picked up the strenghth, gained heights of
excellence and soon emerges as one of the leading
schools of Delhi.
Our New Principal Mr. Harinder Pal Singh is following
the same guidelines. With a wealth of Experience and a
passion for education, Mr. Singh Joins us as the driving
force behind our school’s journey and ascending to
greater levels.
